Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum is a best Museum of India to explore History. The artifacts displayed in museum are in the form of paintings, sculptors, crafts, weapons, etc from mughal emperors times and are terrific pieces to watch and gain knowledge about. There is an audio guide available that talks about various exhibits in museum and helps understand its importance. This Museum is maintained in one of the important Cultural heritage building when British ruled India.

Its history goes back to 1900’s when Prince of Wales visited Mumbai. To mark the memory of Prince of Wales visit, foundation of this museum was laid by him in  1905. It was opened to public in 1922.
