Irshalgad is situated in the Karjat Region. Other forts in this region include Prabalgad, Kalawantin and Malanggad . Actually Irshal is not a fort but it’s a pinnacle. Shivaji Maharaj captured the complete region of Kalyan and Bhiwandi, up to Rairi in May 1666.This fort too, must have come under the Maratha rule at that time.
Meeting Point: Panvel Station at 7.00 am
7.15 am: Start from Panvel Station by private vehicle.
8.00 am: Reach base village and Breakfast.
8.20 am: Start ascending Irshalgad.
11.30 am: Reach top, Lunch & Explore the Fort.
1.00 pm: Start Descending.
4.00 pm: Reach back to Base Village.
5.30 pm: Reach to Panvel Station. (approx)

10) A Nature Trail to Mumbai’s Highest Point
“A Nature Trail to Mumbai’s Highest Point” is a nature trail cum trek to Jambulmal that is located in the core of Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Jambulmal is also popularly known as the highest point in Mumbai.
This nature trail will be led by no other than Nikit Surve, the young and promising wildlife zoologist whose recent project in June 2015 on leopard census in SGNP made breaking news across the city.
